Student Intervention

Early Alert

To enhance what you are already doing as a faculty and staff member, you are encouraged to submit a student’s name to the Student Intervention Team if you think a student may not be headed for a successful experience at CUC and might benefit from assistance, intervention, or prayer.

At-risk behaviour is defined as a pattern of missing class, sleeping through class, doing poorly on tests and quizzes, displaying anti-social behaviour, not turning in assignments, missing work appointments, indicating serious personal or family problems, displaying addictive behaviours, displaying depression, unusual homesickness, or lack of social connection, etc.

The Student Intervention Team meets weekly on Monday afternoons.  Each name submitted is reviewed and then assigned to a team member for follow up.  Please fill out the form and click “submit” and the form will automatically be sent to Student Sucess Centre for processing.
